Inspiration Behind Las Mercedes Family Clinic<\/h5>\r\n\t\t\t

Las Mercedes Family Clinic is a deeply personal and heartfelt project, inspired by various aspects of my life and experiences. The name "Las Mercedes" holds a special place in my heart as it represents the community of Las Mercedes in Florida, Camag\u00fcey, Cuba\u2014where my mother was born, my parents first met, and where I often visited and interacted in a natural, close-knit environment during my childhood. Those formative experiences in such a warm and vibrant setting shaped my understanding of community and connection.\nAnother significant inspiration is the urgent need to serve underserved populations, particularly the Hispanic community to which I proudly belong. Witnessing the barriers faced by this group has fueled my determination to create a space where access to quality healthcare is not just a privilege but a right.\nMoreover, my desire to bring to the community the ethical and professional standards in which I was trained as a Cuban professional has been a driving force. I am profoundly grateful to this great country for its acceptance and opportunities, and I aim to combine the values from my upbringing with the principles I\u2019ve embraced here.\nAt Las Mercedes Family Clinic, we strive to provide holistic care that goes beyond medical exams and laboratory tests. Our approach includes empathy, warm greetings, psychological support, and genuine social interaction. We see our patients not just as clients but as part of an extended family.
